Patric Ledford/Launchie Wow! What a gem. This record rocks. I have two middle fingers for RS who "reviewed" this great record. How can anyone can say this is 13th Floor rip off? This is just good music. Good songs. George Kinney is an excellent songwriter!. As a fan I would've started the record with "Starvation" instead of "Evolution." But thats me. I"ve been playing this record quite a lot. The sound of Liberation! Because how it looks is how it is!! :) Favorite track: Starvation.

"The Golden Dawn are an American psychedelic rock band formed in Austin, Texas, in 1966, that broke up and then reformed in the early 2000s.

The band released one album, entitled Power Plant, before breaking up soon after the album's release in 1968. Their sound is similar to their well-known Austin contemporaries, The 13th Floor Elevators, and both bands were on the International Artists label."
